Renewed!!

This is a picture of Seven Sisters Falls. It was absolutely beautiful. This picture does not even do it justice. We climbed up to the very top waterfall and looked over the edge. Some people from another group jumped. We couldn't jump because we had left our stuff up the river. But next time...no doubt.. I am jumping!! It must have been a huge rush!! How blessed I am to be able to experience this beauty!!:)
Lisa and I went to visit the Carpenter family this past weekend. They are a family that works with Raise Praise Ministry and they host short term missionaries from all over churches in the states for a week or so. They stay extremely busy organizing retreats, backyard bible studies, and school bible studies along with just their regular ministry work with the locals and local churches. They are an incredible family that readily follows Gods heart step by leading step. It was an honor to get to stay with them for a couple days.
This weekend must have been one of the most spiritally connected weekends that I have ever had with God. I totally reconnected, it was wonderful and I really needed it. At church yesterday he really laid me down. "I am desperately needing, I am pleading, Can you hear my heart, can you cleanse these hands," these are the words to a worship song by Pat Brown. This is what God did for me on Sunday!!! He broke me and I cried!! and cried!! Which was wonderful because I have not been able to cry lately. I know that sounds weird to those of you that know me!! I have to agree. But after the service, I was totally renewed. I feel like a totally diffrent person today. God is good!! And he has to come first, he just has to!! This morning in my quite time he reinterated this to me again, "Anyone who wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else." Even the disciples could not heal the boy that had an evil spirit in Mark 9, Jesus was the only one that could heal him. When the disciples did not understand and asked Jesus why they could not heal the boy, Jesus' reply was "This can come out only by prayer." Mark 9:29. WOW! All the things that are going on here in Grenada and still are not resolved and may never get resolved, I have total peace now that he is going to take care of it. It is under his control and there is nothing in my power that I can do about it except pray!!
I will continue to update you all on everything. I love all of you so much and can't hardly wait for you all to come visit me some day and enjoy nature like I never have before!!! Take care!!
