Trying to be omnipresent... but failing
Man....
What a week, I am exhausted! I wanted to be so many places and I feel like I was everwhere but not anywhere. Just goes to show that I am not God and can not even attempt to be, he is omnipresent, omnipotent, at our beck and call anytime we need him!! What a job, I am glad that it is not me.
The other day, I went running in L'ance aux epines ( a rich suburb of St. George's). It is so gorgeous. Most of the run wanted to be so many places and I feel like I was everwhere but not anywhere. Just goes to show that I am not God and can not even attempt to be, he is omnipresent, omnipotent, at our beck and call anytime we need him!! What a job, I am glad that it is not me.
over looks the ocean as the road curves back and forth and up and down. The best part is at the end of the road is a vacant looking lighthouse with an amazine view up on top of a hill. I often stop here and just look out over the ocean and reflect on everything going on in my life. I was praying about somethings and having some doubt that things would ever get solved when I turned my right and there was God's promise, an unbelievably huge rainbow in the distance. It was incredible!!
Thought I would share that.
Yesterday, Saturday was another HASH. It was a great time. The run was a little over 1 hour and 20 minutes. The best part was to finish the hash we had to swim across the ocean for about 30o yards. I was excited to get to jump in the water because I was so hot, however, I was also in my clothes and shoes. I thought about taking my shoes off but how would that help, they would still get wet and I would then have to try to swim with them in my hands. So my classmate, Ika, and I both jumped in with our shoes and everything still on. We both pledged if we drown we drown together. 300 yards is a long way in the ocean!!! and even seems even longer after running a hash. Great fun though!!!
I have got to share this one last thing with you guys!! Today durning church I got approached by Dr. Patterson, a new veterinarian from Aurburn that is working here in Grenada. Her along with Dr. Smith(a former vet pathology prof) are having a meeting on Thursday about starting up a CVF here at St. George's. They both invited me to come to the meeting. Most of you know, this has been a major major top of the list prayer for me since I first started coming school here last semester. I was so excited and so pumped. This is so HUGE!!! I cant wait to see what God does!! I'll keep you guys informed!!!
Love each and everyone of you!! Thanks for all the support and prayers!! They truely are being answered!!!
