Ending up where we are.....

Isen't it crazy when you really stop and think. Ten years ago, when that teacher asked me....."what do you want to be when you grow up?", I would ever imagine that I would be in the place I am not. God strategicly places us in every situation we find ourselves in no matter good or bad. Our only job is to take every situation with a grain of salt and make the most out of it living it as Christ would have lived it. That is an easy thing for me to say but to perform is an incredible feat. I strive to excell to this level. And boy...........I have a looooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg way to go!!!!

There is a group of 4 of us that meet every Friday at lunch. Two are married-(one is newly married and the other has 4 children) and the other has been divorced for 2 years. Then there is me. I have to be honest with you.... if it were not for these 3 people in Grenada, life would be a lot rougher. These are my accountablily partners. They are my lights and I love them dearly and God has totally brought the 3 of us together. We are meeting every Friday and just reading a chapter in "My Purpose Driven Life". I am so blessed to have these guys in my life.

On another note.... could I please have ya'll pray for my roomate, Lori. She has been ill now for about 3 weeks. She went to the doctor thinking that she had giardia and so they prescribed Flagyl (metronitazole). Well about 3 days after starting the medication, she walks out of her room holding her arms our in a fixed position and asked me "Heidi, I cant move my arms past this position, should I be worried.". I did not know how to reply... I told her to go back to the doctor. So they totally blew her off pretty much and googled her symptoms right in front of her. So she stopped the medication and a couple days later she was still not well. On this last Thursday she flew back to the states. Now she is home in New Jersey and the doctors still don't know what is wrong. They do not think that it is the Flagyl and there differentials are lymes disease (which is unheard of in Grenada) and rhumatoid arthritis or worse. She is waiting for the blood results now and resting at home. Please just pray for her comfort and recovery. Also with her returning to school. She has already missed two exams and she will be missing two more next week. I am really worried about her. God has a plan... it is just hard watching and waiting on a friend in pain.
Good night it is getting late!!
Love all of you so much. Please stay heathy!!!
