July 4th weekend revisited

My moms side of the family all got together for the 4th of July to celebrate by Grandfathers 90th birthday but also just to celebrate "family". All I have to say is we must be one of the most blessed families in the world in how we all get along and all love eachother and the Lord God as much as we all do. My cousin Robert( I prefer to call him Bobby) came all the way from his peace core assignment in Azerbijan to Tapatio Springs for the reunion. I think that the only one that did not make it was my own father because of work concerns. Eventhough it has been like 3 weeks since the reunion, today I was reminded in how important family is. Today in church at Stonegate in Midland, Patrick the pastor was discussing how each day we need to grow in Christ and take those opportunities given to use that might look often like risks. The first thing that popped into my head dealing with risks was the fact that I am in vet school in Grenada taking out loans of close to $35, 000 dollars a year. Risky... I would call it so! However then I thought of all the generations of aunts and uncles, grandfathers and grandmothers, cousins, second cousins, moms and dads, and brothers and sisters, and all the risks that they have taken to create this wonderful family of mine. Now those are risks and I am so grateful for every last one of them. This might seen very obtuse and confusing, but to me it was a perfectly clear picture. So I included a picture of my family. I am so thankful to be included!!
Thank God for family!!!

All of you are like family to me!! And I miss you and love you!!
